Class objectives
Gaining an understanding of the limits in the roles and current status of international organizations while exploring their potential.
Class content
Based on a video lecture on Gender and International Organizations, the Japanese and American students were divided into 20 groups, and the positioning of the two countries with regard to gender in the international community was discussed.

To implement COIL in larger classes, a combination of asynchronous and synchronous classes was used. The required activities were conducted asynchronously; there was enthusiastic participation from the U.S. students in optional Zoom meetings.

Gender and International Organizationsをテーマとするビデオ講義を踏まえ、日米の学生を20のグループに分け、ジェンダーをめぐる日米双方の状況の国際社会における位置づけを議論した。

大規模クラスにおけるCOILの実施のため、非同期と同期を組み合わせて対応している。必須の活動は非同期型で行い、希望者によるZoomミーティングを実施したところ、米国学生の意欲的な参加があった。
