この度、2025年11月8日（土）に "Cosmopolitanism and Nationalism in a Changing
World"と題して「JIGE 2025 人文社会科学系グローバル・ドクトラル・コロキウム 」を開催いたします。

このイベントは、人文社会科学系の博士後期課程学生および若手研究者による研究発表を中心に構成されます。今年度は「変動する世界におけるコスモポリタリズムとナショナリズム」を共通課題に設定し、各分野における最新の知見の共有や共同研究の促進を目指します。
また、本コロキウムは、東北大学、関西大学、千葉大学が共同で推進するJIGEプロジェクトの一環として実施され、持続的な研究コミュニティの形成を支援します。

本コロキウムでの研究発表を希望される方は、10月19日（日）までに下記フォームよりご登録をお願い申し上げます。

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the JIGE 2025 Global Doctoral Colloquium in the Humanities and Social Sciences, entitled "Cosmopolitanism and Nationalism in a Changing World," will be held online on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

This academic event will feature research presentations by doctoral students and early-career researchers in the humanities and social sciences. This year, the colloquium sets a common theme of "Cosmopolitanism and Nationalism in a Changing World" to encourage the sharing of the latest insights across disciplines and to promote opportunities for collaborative research.

This event is organized as part of the JIGE Project, a global education initiative co-led by Tohoku University, Kansai University, and Chiba University, in partnership with 36 international universities, to support the formation of sustainable research communities and encourage efforts to address social challenges through research.

Attached please find the conference information. We would greatly appreciate it if you could help spread the word and encourage your students and early-career researchers to participate in the event. The application deadline for research presentations is Sunday, October 19.
