Class objectives
Reflecting on the history of cultural exchange, the students are educated toward diverse cultural coexistence by asking what culture is and discussing approaches to cultural exchange.
Class content
Discussions on cultural exchange between the two groups of students were held based on (1) the "Book Road," ancient cultural exchanges between Japan and China (provided by Chiba University) and (2) "What is culture?" (provided by the University of Alabama) video lectures.

文化交流を歴史的に振り返り、文化とは何か、文化交流のあり方をめぐってディスカッションを実施することにより、多文化共生に向けた教養を醸成する。
授業内容
文化交流をテーマに、1）古代における日中文化交流「Book Road」（千葉大学提供）、2）What is culture?（アラバマ大学提供）のビデオ講義を踏まえ、双方の学生がディスカッションを実施した。
